Conundrum
Aug. 6th, 2006 | 09:50 pm
So my laptop has a fingerprint reader (the shit) and it came with a password manager that can be used along with it so that whenever I have the need to enter a login name and password, all I have to do is hit Ctrl-Shift-G and swipe my finger. Cool, yeah? But then I find out that it's not compatible with Mozilla Firefox. So now my debate is as follows:
~Use Microsoft Internet Explorer (boo) and make use of my fingerprints (sweet)
or
~Use Mozilla (yay) and not be able to use my fingerprints (sad) as much...
In a nutshell:
boo + sweet (=/>/<) yay + sad
I'm leaning toward >. That is, getting rid of yay in favor of sweet... Sweet just seems like a stronger interjection.

You know, I just realized that pooping emeralds would hurt so incredibly much.
Anyway, I don't like the term paper. But I like winning at poker (did you just throw it away at the end, Drew?) and not working on the term paper. I'm taking a break, in case you couldn't tell. Does anybody else to whom this question applies get some sort of pleasure from rubbing your stubbly chin? It feels nice, for some reason. Maybe it's because you can get the pensive, aloof look.
That's all the thought in my head right now. Good for me!

I'm tired. Playing Starcraft till 2 and then getting up early to help drag multi-hundred-pound piles of wild olive down the driveway and into the woods (about 200m per trip) is really tiring. But Starcraft is fun!

Right now, I can smell sausage sizzling in syrup on the stove, as well as the scent of something cinnamon in the oven. I'm happy.
Also, I just have to add this. I got an email from the UM College of Engineering, and it began like this:
Greetings Abram,
You are the one.

So, after taking into account all the replies to the poll, I've decided to completely disregard them and just go with "aabooth." Ergo, my new email is aabooth@umich.edu. Whee!

So I'm about to make my U of M email thingy, and I don't know what to put for it. These were the options given:
-abramb
-abraxelb
-abraxebo
-abrambo
Or I can make my own, but lots of things are taken.
So... poll! What should I choose?

Grr... I just got an email from the MIT Admissions Office titled "Information regarding online notification of MIT admissions decisions." Turns out it just said that I could find out online March 18. Grr.

sick (viral bronshitis)
Being sick sucks. I hope I can get to sleep. Since I want to sleep long past sunrise, I'm borrowing my sister's green sleep mask silly that says "Sweet Dreams" in little girly font on the front, which she got free with a Seventeen magazine something or other at some point. As long as it's opaque, I don't care.
I apologize in advance to all the people that are getting sick, and if you find out that it's viral bronchitis, then I apologize again. Whoopsy.

I've been coughing for a good three weeks. It sucks. I'm coughing to the point where my coughs hit my fucking gag reflex yesterday and I threw up. Damn. But right now I'm enjoying a cup of honey with tea, and it makes my throat happy.
